Job Summary:

The U.S. Global Change Research Program's National Coordination Office seeks a professional with established experience in climate services development and delivery. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance and support to interagency groups developing, coordinating, and delivering domestic and international climate services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to help coordinate USGCRP Climate Services interagency bodies.
  • Develop and maintain a catalog of federal climate services.
  • Identify and design engagement opportunities to understand the climate services needs of federal and non-federal entities.
  • Support coordination of climate service-focused modeling, data products, and information provision efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5 years+ OR Master's degree AND 4 years+ of full-time professional work experience in applied global change science or policy, adaptation or decision science, or other closely related topics.
  • Relevant experience and knowledge of climate services development and/or delivery.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities at a given time while interacting with multidisciplinary teams.
