About the Role

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying business growth opportunities, and driving sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive, credible, and lasting relationships with our customers, based on trust and mutual understanding.
  • Business Growth Identification: Discover and identify customer business growth needs, and develop a customer business growth plan for each account.
  • Sales Revenue Growth: Analyze data and insights to increase sales, grow customer business, and better achieve objectives.
  • Account Management: Regularly and consistently pre-plan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities documented in CRM (Proof).
  • Sales Activities Prioritization: Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer business growth plan.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and correctly present and position them in each account.
  • Sales Solutions: Propose selling solutions to each customer and win the sale using consultative selling skills.
  • Internal Objectives: Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management.
  • Customer Issue Resolution: Manage customer issue resolution, seek additional opportunities to support the customer's needs, and support business growth by providing customers with useful information and guidance.
  • Selling Approach Adaptation: Adapt the selling approach based on each customer's buying styles and individual business needs.
  • Account Information Management: Document and maintain account- and customer-specific information in CRM (Proof).
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and supplier events as required.
Requirements
  • Age: 21 years or older.
  • Data Analysis: Able to analyze and understand data and information.
  • Technology Proficiency: Able to leverage SGWS technology to perform duties and responsibilities.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in using mobile devices (e.g., iPad, smartphone) and online communication techniques (email, posting, texting, etc.) in a professional manner.
  • Results-Oriented: Able to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances.
  • Accountability: Able to take responsibility for own actions and results; commits to providing a consistently high level of service to customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management.
  • Communication Effectiveness: Able to communicate effectively through various methods and express self clearly and concisely while appropriately tailoring the message to the audience.
  • Adaptability: Able to be nimble in ambiguity; be open to change; embrace innovative ideas.
  • Team Player: Team player; works collaboratively with others.
  • Results-Driven Environment: Able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Reliable Transportation: Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance on their vehicle in compliance with SGWS company requirements.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Travel: Able to travel as needed.
