Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service and Operations
    • Provide exceptional customer service and a safe, clean, and friendly environment for our members and guests.
    • Manage the Academy/Child Center payroll within budgetary guidelines and make recommendations as needed.
  • Program Development and Management
    • Develop and implement programs and events that promote engagement and participation among our junior members.
    • Partner with the Kids Manager to ensure the best experience is offered for our members while in the Academy/Child Center and kids programming/events.
  • Team Management
    • Manage and support the Kids team members by providing ongoing training, giving feedback, and coaching.
    • Complete the casting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of kids team members.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Complete inventory and assist in ordering and maintaining supplies, toys, and equipment within the Academy/Child Center and for events and programming.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • 2 years of experience teaching or working in a children's program.
    • 2 years of experience in a day care setting as a lead teacher or two consecutive summers of camp experience with increased responsibility.
    • 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Certifications and Skills
    • Successfully complete and pass Kids On-Demand Certifications before the first day of work.
    • First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
    • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience working with children.
  • The ability to engage a group of children in an activity.
  • Customer service and strong communication skills.

Compensation

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $21.50 and paying up to $29.00, based on experience and qualifications.
