We are actively searching for a self-driven, results-oriented

RETAIL SALES AND MERCHANDISING TEAM LEADER. Micro Center is committed to nurturing both our associates and customers, a principle that has contributed to our success over the past four decades.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the sales floor by ensuring associates are engaging with customers and providing credible product solutions; uphold customer satisfaction standards within the department.

Oversee the implementation of advertising setups and visual merchandising standards in the department.

Manage all aspects of freight flow and merchandise processing, including regular inventory counts and tracking of company assets.

Participate in staffing, training, and scheduling to ensure that competent associates are hired to effectively serve our customers; communicate any issues to management.

Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to associates to ensure understanding and achievement of sales presentations, customer satisfaction, visual merchandising standards, and desired outcomes.

Assist in leading opening and closing procedures.

Act as the floor leader or manager-in-charge in the absence of store managers.

Support store operations by maintaining awareness of loss prevention and assisting in preparation for physical inventory.

Collaborate with senior management and/or the Regional HR Manager as necessary to ensure human resource matters are addressed according to guidelines.

Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Two or more years of experience in a retail sales environment with direct responsibility for achieving sales and customer service goals and merchandising standards, preferably in a supervisory role.

Ability to communicate professionally, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and relate to individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge.

Proven capability to drive sales and implement corporate initiatives.

Physical requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Shifts may include hours before and after store operations and may also encompass mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
