Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a seasoned and experienced professional to lead our finance and accounting department. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in manufacturing and government contract accounting, along with proven supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and deliver monthly financial reports to senior management and the parent company.
- Train and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficient and effective departmental performance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government accounting and financial reporting regulations.
- Manage government contract accounting, including invoicing, preparation and submission of indirect rates, and compliance with FAR and DFARS.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to strengthen and protect the company's financial position.
- Perform financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate the preparation of tax workpapers with the external accounting firm.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
- Optimize ERP systems to streamline financial processes and enhance data accuracy and accessibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5-10+ years of GL accounting experience.
- Excel proficiency.

This is a fully on-site position in Yorktown, Virginia.
