Position Overview:

The California State University is establishing a pool of qualified adjunct faculty for potential teaching opportunities in the Accounting discipline. This role is focused on delivering instruction in areas such as financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and accounting information systems.

Appointment Details:

Appointments from this adjunct pool are temporary and typically occur just before the academic term begins. Candidates must be prepared to respond on very short notice for potential teaching assignments during the Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters, depending on budgetary considerations and student enrollment.

Qualifications Required:

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in business or a related field, along with relevant professional certification. Demonstrated currency in the professional domain is essential, as is prior professional and/or teaching experience. Any exceptions to these qualifications will require the approval of the tenured and probationary faculty in the area.
