GRAPHIC COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT, ADJUNCT FACULTY POOL.

The Graphic Communication Department at California State University is seeking applications for a pool of adjunct faculty members.

Positions are available as determined by departmental needs and funding during the academic year.

Responsibilities may include teaching various subjects in design reproduction technology (Adobe Creative Suite); printing and packaging; and UX/UI.


Initial rank and compensation for faculty members are based on professional experience and educational qualifications, determined by the hiring department.

Most new faculty members are appointed at the Adjunct A or B rank.

As of the latest updates, the classification salary ranges for the respective ranks are:

Adjunct A:
$5,007-$6,359

Adjunct B:
$5,925-$12,594

Adjunct C:
$6,500-$13,831

Adjunct D:
$8,184-$14,487

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in a related technical field required. A Bachelor's degree in a related technical field with substantial and appropriate industry experience may be considered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. or Master's Degree preferred. Prior teaching experience desired.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

All employees are designated "mandated reporters" under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act.

As a condition of your employment, you will be required to comply with the requirements set forth in institutional policies.
