Adjunct Faculty Pool

The Communication Studies Department at Point Loma Nazarene University is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to join our pool of instructors. As a member of our adjunct faculty pool, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses in communication studies, including Communication Theory, Public Speaking, and Media Studies.
Responsibilities:- Teach undergraduate-level courses in communication studies, including lectures, discussions, and assignments.
- Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on their academic work.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and programs.
- Masters or Doctorate in Communication Studies or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Teaching experience in higher education, preferably in a liberal arts setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Ability to learn and use university software and systems, including online grading and course management tools.
