About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at the German American Chambers Of Commerce. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading customer acquisition and relationship management within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Shape and refine our sales strategy to ensure impactful market penetration and contribute to the company's overall strategic planning.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Execute consulting-oriented sales strategies to address customer needs effectively, engaging in concept-driven and space/design-oriented discussions.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Lead customer acquisition efforts and nurture existing client relationships, prioritizing customer visits and presenting our company's distinct characteristics.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and foster relationships with architects, designers, educational institutions, districts, and dealers, enhancing our network of partnerships.
  • Innovative Solution Development: Develop conceptual solutions that resonate with diverse pedagogical concepts, partnering closely with construction and engineering teams to ensure technical prowess.
  • Trade Show and Event Participation: Organize and actively participate in trade shows and forums, amplifying our presence in industry gatherings.
  • Product Portfolio Expansion: Contribute significantly to the expansion of our product portfolio, incorporating customer requests and preferences.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay attuned to evolving customer needs and market trends through continuous research, informing decision-making with relevant insights.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business management or administration; additional training in interior architecture for educational establishments desirable.
  • Experience: Experience within the furniture industry, specifically in the school furniture market sector a plus.
  • Sales Experience: Demonstrated track record with several years of successful sales experience, particularly in consumer goods requiring detailed explanation.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Outstanding communication and negotiation skills; German language abilities a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using MS-Office and SAP; familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Project Management Skills: Profound project management skills to effectively handle multifaceted tasks.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Entrepreneurial and visionary mindset that contributes to organizational growth.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness and availability for travel as required.
