Overview:
The Lead Salesforce Engineer plays a pivotal role in the design, configuration, and development of Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds, along with other related software applications within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be a seasoned Salesforce engineer with strong leadership capabilities and extensive experience in designing, building, testing, and documenting complex, scalable, and reliable solutions on the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Salesforce capabilities utilizing technologies such as Aura, Lightning Web Components, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce API.
  • Adhering to established coding standards and ensuring thorough code reviews are conducted for assigned tasks.
  • Contributing to a culture of high code quality within the engineering team, ensuring that all code delivered to quality assurance and production meets rigorous standards.
  • Implementing continuous integration practices on application source code and seeking enhancements to improve code quality.
  • Collaborating closely with project teams to understand system requirements and ensure effective implementation, while identifying opportunities for cost-effective, reusable solutions.
  • Possessing in-depth knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure components and demonstrating expert-level object-oriented programming skills.
  • Ensuring application code complies with enterprise and industry standards, including performance and security best practices.
  • Gathering feedback from design and technical teams regarding application development needs and collaborating with Enterprise Architecture to propose new architectural patterns.
  • Coordinating with other engineers and teams, including user experience and infrastructure teams.
  • Assisting in project planning and estimation, while providing necessary support for application-related projects.

Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in software development or a related field.

Additional Requirements:
Candidates should possess:

  • At least 7 years of development experience in Salesforce.
  • Expert-level understanding of Salesforce programming languages and optimization techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and AWS technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as CloudFormation, BitBucket, and Jenkins.
  • Experience in cloud-based application deployment using AWS is highly desirable.
  • Effective communication skills and a strong customer orientation.
  • The ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
