Job Summary:

ITT is seeking a Sr. Human Resources (HR) Manager to provide leadership and support to our Connectors business.

This HR Business Partner role will be based out of our Irvine, CA location and report to the Executive Director of HR for our Connectors business.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of employment practices and requirements in the State of California.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with the business to develop and execute our people initiatives, including attracting, growing, and retaining high-quality talent.
  2. Enable efficient, scalable, and customer-centric HR processes and operations.
  3. Drive a culture of performance, learning, and employee engagement.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures.
  5. Leverage strong Change Management.
  6. Partner with Corporate leadership teams and HR leadership to develop, implement, and deploy the enterprise People strategy in a way that delivers maximum value.
  7. Ensure the Connectors business is compliant with U.S. and California employment laws.
  8. Support ITT HR processes and system integration and consistency across multiple business sites.
  9. Use a data-driven approach to identify and address business challenges; exercise business and financial acumen to deliver impactful HR solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources Business Partner roles, including at least 3 years supporting HR for a manufacturing facility with overtime eligible employees.
  • University/College Bachelor Degree in a relevant field of study is required.
  • Proven ability to learn and effectively use diverse technological platforms, including HRIS (Workday experience preferred); proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is strongly desired (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with time keeping systems such as Kronos/UKG.

Additional Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of combining an understanding of the business (including goals, strategies, culture, and challenges) with a well-developed consultative approach, to partner with business leadership in creating and implementing solutions which positively help the business achieve its objectives.
  • Track record of leading HR transition and integration activities associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures.
  • Experience in broad, business-centered HR support with a history of leading initiatives.
  • Ability to synthesize diverse data-points and follow up with appropriate recommendations in line with our strategic initiatives.
  • Well-rounded HR background ideally with experience in Change Management, Talent & Development, HR Analytics, Employee/Labor Relations, and Recruiting/Onboarding.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
  • Intimate knowledge of HR strategies and processes, as well as current market trends and potential future HR trends.
  • Experience investigating and resolving employee relations matters.

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range:

Annual Salary Range is $124,800 to $186,800, plus benefits & incentive plans.
