The Finance Chief Risk Office (CRO) team plays a crucial role in overseeing risk management within the Finance sector. This includes effective evaluation and mitigation of risks associated with capital, liquidity, interest rates, Treasury investments, and private equity investments, while ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements related to risk. The Finance CRO Chief Administrative Office (CAO) team is tasked with governance, execution, and control oversight of the Finance CRO, which encompasses: (i) communications with regulators and auditors; (ii) the transformation agenda; (iii) development of policies, standards, procedures, and training; (iv) reporting to the Board and relevant committees; (v) internal controls; and (vi) fostering employee engagement throughout the Finance CRO organization.

This position will support the Governance and Committees Team, focusing on the EUC, SOX, Model, and Escalation programs. The role involves generating metrics and reports for key stakeholders and senior management to evaluate the current risk and control landscape. The selected candidate will assist in creating sophisticated, executive-level PowerPoint presentations to convey clear messages in senior forums, including the Board and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance CRO Risk Governance initiatives and generate senior-level metrics (EUC, Model, Escalation, SOX).
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for various senior-level meetings (Regulator, Committee, RMEC).
  • Manage multiple deliverables to support the Finance Chief Risk Office organization.
  • Evaluate risks in business decisions, with a focus on maintaining the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This includes ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, and exercising sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proficient in data analysis with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical, diplomatic, management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and cultivate effective working relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong initiative to learn and master new tasks quickly.
  • Consistently exhibits clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in finance is preferred.
  • An MBA is preferred.
