Senior Analyst, Business Risk Management
The Procurement and Third-Party Management (P&TPM) team is tasked with comprehensive oversight and accountability in the formulation and execution of Citigroup's Third-Party Management (TPM) policies, standards, and associated processes. The P&TPM Supplier Oversight Program is dedicated to monitoring external third parties deemed essential to Citigroup's operations and business functions globally, ensuring that critical risks associated with these entities are identified, managed, and mitigated effectively.
The Senior Analyst in Business Risk will be responsible for conducting essential oversight and evaluations for the P&TPM Supplier Oversight program. This role will also involve facilitating discussions with Business and Senior Management regarding the performance and risk status of third parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and executing oversight discussions, including both onsite and remote evaluations of third-party operations to verify the adequacy of controls in place.
- Preparing and assisting in the creation of oversight reports that provide well-supported conclusions regarding the overall risk landscape.
- Monitoring performance metrics and maintaining comprehensive profiles for third parties, including their risk status and trends.
- Developing detailed documentation that illustrates how risks are identified, assessed, and communicated.
- Offering insights on issue identification, corrective action planning, and remediation strategies.
- Facilitating follow-up actions post-engagement with business units and third parties to ensure risk mitigation opportunities are realized.
- Contributing to the design and implementation of oversight activities.
- Providing additional support for various projects related to Third-Party Risk Management as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in third-party management, risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and remediation.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written, with a talent for conveying complex and sensitive topics clearly.
- Experience collaborating with global, cross-functional teams and navigating large organizational structures is preferred.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the capability to foster partnerships across the organization.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proficient in reporting and data analysis, with strong skills in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Willingness to travel as required.
