Hotel Front Desk Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team at Hotel Indigo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of all hotel guest account information, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.
  • Customer Service: Mitigate customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, providing solutions that meet our guests' needs.
  • Communication: Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding room bookings, rates, amenities, and special requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Guest Services: Greet, check-in, and check-out guests, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information accurately.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably as a hotel front desk agent or similar position.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation management systems is a plus.
