Hotel Front Desk Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Hotel Indigo. As a key member of our guest services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Services: Greet and check-in guests, manage guest accounts, and respond to inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of guest account information, including credit card details and room assignments.
  • Communication: Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably as a hotel front desk agent or similar position.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to handle customer complaints and issues with grace.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
