Hotel Front Desk Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our guest services team at Hotel Indigo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of all hotel guest account information, ensuring timely and efficient processing of transactions.
  • Customer Service: Welcome and check-in guests, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests, and work together to resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a front desk or guest services role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
  • Availability: Full-time availability, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
