Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell Facilities products, programs, and solutions to prospective and new clients.
  • Conduct customer profiling and qualification.
  • Proactively manage targeted prospect leads from initial qualification to successful closure.
  • Support Business Development teams with monthly training and assist in quarterly initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Facility and Breakroom protocols.
  • Engage in co-selling with Business Development through a consultative approach across various channels including phone, email, and Teams.
  • Provide pre-sales assistance to account teams and external clients, which may involve capabilities presentations, pricing, quotes, product specifications, and implementation support.
  • Complete bid submissions and formal RFPs.
  • Offer product comparisons and recommend alternatives based on customer requirements and pricing guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Staples Facilities selling strategies.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, products/services, and market segments.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and engage relevant support teams, implementation, or vendors to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • A proactive approach to closing business and engaging with potential clients.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively across various internal departments and external clients through different mediums.
  • Expertise in context-switching: adept at managing multiple concurrent responsibilities with minimal loss of productivity or quality.
  • Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric focus.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Completion of secondary education, including vocational training or an associate degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in B2B Sales.
  • Background in Jan/San Sales.
