Position Details:

  • Promoting Facility Solutions products, programs, and services to prospective and new clients.
  • Conducting customer profiling and qualification.
  • Proactively managing targeted leads from initial qualification to successful closure.
  • Equipping Business Development teams with monthly training and supporting quarterly initiatives.
  • Ensuring full compliance with all Facility and Breakroom protocols.
  • Collaborating with Business Development through a consultative approach across various communication channels including phone, email, and Teams.
  • Delivering pre-sales assistance to account teams and external clients, which may involve capabilities presentations, pricing, quotes, product specifications, and implementation support.
  • Completing bid submissions and formal RFP responses.
  • Offering product comparisons and recommending alternatives based on customer requirements and pricing guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Staples' Facilities sales strategies.
  • Comprehensive industry knowledge, including trends, products/services, and market segments.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and engage relevant support teams, implementation, or vendors to ensure an optimal customer experience.
  • A proactive approach to closing business and engaging with potential clients.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various internal departments and external clients through multiple channels.
  • Proficient in managing multiple concurrent responsibilities and shifting focus with minimal impact on productivity or quality.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach.

Basic Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary education, including vocational training or an associate degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in B2B sales.
  • Familiarity with Janitorial/Sanitation sales.
