Facilities Account Executive

Position Details:
- Promoting Facility Solutions products, programs, and services to prospective and new clients.
- Conducting customer profiling and qualification.
- Proactively managing targeted leads from initial qualification to successful closure.
- Equipping Business Development teams with monthly training and supporting quarterly initiatives.
- Ensuring full compliance with all Facility and Breakroom protocols.
- Collaborating with Business Development through a consultative approach across various communication channels including phone, email, and Teams.
- Delivering pre-sales assistance to account teams and external clients, which may involve capabilities presentations, pricing, quotes, product specifications, and implementation support.
- Completing bid submissions and formal RFP responses.
- Offering product comparisons and recommending alternatives based on customer requirements and pricing guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Staples' Facilities sales strategies.
- Comprehensive industry knowledge, including trends, products/services, and market segments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and engage relevant support teams, implementation, or vendors to ensure an optimal customer experience.
- A proactive approach to closing business and engaging with potential clients.
- Strong time management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various internal departments and external clients through multiple channels.
- Proficient in managing multiple concurrent responsibilities and shifting focus with minimal impact on productivity or quality.
- Problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach.
Basic Requirements:
- Completion of secondary education, including vocational training or an associate degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Familiarity with Janitorial/Sanitation sales.
