Job Summary

The Sous Chef I role is a key position in our kitchen team, responsible for assisting with food program success and overseeing culinary functions. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of related culinary experience, including 1 year at the management level, and be knowledgeable about food trends, quality control, and cost management.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist in planning, creating menus, and executing culinary programs.
  • Manage inventory, cost controls, and expenditure to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Motivate, train, and develop back-of-house associates to deliver high-quality food products.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and culinary teams to roll out new programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, training, and coaching skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
