Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our culinary team as a Winter Culinary/Hospitality Internship. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food preparation and cooking process, while fostering an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our guests.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness of kitchen and stations, adhering to our highest standards of hospitality.
  • Participate in menu development and execution under guidance of our Executive Chef, utilizing creativity and innovative thinking.
  • Learn inventory control, costing, and waste management techniques to optimize our culinary operations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely delivery of menu items, enhancing the overall guest experience.
  • Support daily food service in line with company standards, demonstrating excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a culinary or hospitality program, with a passion for cooking and eagerness to learn new techniques and recipes.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and managers.
  • Possess good organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to follow precision skills and directions, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Basic knife skills, with the ability to safely handle and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Food handlers card, with the ability to pass background checks and maintain confidentiality.
  • Weekend availability, with flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules.
  • A culinary degree or experience is required, with a strong foundation in cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Good knife skills, with the ability to chop, dice, and mince ingredients efficiently.
  • Must be positive, collaborative, and committed to healthy communication and quality work, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and guest satisfaction.
  • Must be on your feet for the majority of the shift, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, parking discounts, pet insurance, free workout privileges, and flexible schedules.
