Community Engagement Manager

Thrive Communities is seeking a dedicated Community Engagement Manager to oversee and enhance the living experience within our properties. This role is pivotal in fostering a vibrant community atmosphere where residents feel valued and connected.

Location: Bellevue

Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation: $75,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial operations, including budget creation and monitoring, rent collection, and vendor approvals.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff to ensure high performance and morale.
  • Provide constructive feedback and performance evaluations for all team members.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of management activities and prepare necessary reports.
  • Cultivate positive resident relations through exceptional customer service and effective policy implementation.
  • Oversee property maintenance, coordinating with maintenance teams and external vendors.
  • Conduct property tours for prospective residents, staying informed about market trends.
  • Regularly inspect the property to ensure cleanliness and a welcoming environment.
  • Contribute to a supportive team culture and foster strong resident engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in property management.
  • At least 6 months of supervisory experience with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Certification as an Apartment Manager (CAM) is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in affordable housing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi/CRM is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A valid Driver's License may be required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to alternate between standing and sitting throughout the day.
  • Frequent typing and phone communication.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs and regular walking around the property.
