Position Overview:
The Developer Channels & Programs team at Vertisystem is in search of a committed and talented Social Media Manager to support our initiatives on a part-time contractual basis. As an integral part of our Developer Engagement division, you will play a key role in enhancing our interaction with developers through various digital platforms, including social media, video content, email outreach, and community initiatives. Your contributions will be vital in refining internal communications, aiding in process documentation, and facilitating channel management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Creation Support: Assist channel owners in generating high-quality content for social media and video platforms. This involves editing captions, incorporating metadata, and aiding in the acquisition of graphics.
• Audience Interaction Support: Help the team engage with our audience by gathering comments, messages, and inquiries from social media and video platforms. Contribute to the development and management of a case study library to establish a database for storytelling content.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Aid team members in tracking performance metrics across digital channels, monitoring audience growth, and delivering regular reports with actionable insights to enhance our content strategy.
• Content Scheduling and Coordination: Oversee content calendars and team project boards, schedule posts, and collaborate with team members to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
• Documentation Support: Assist team members in documenting processes and resources on the company's internal knowledge management platform.
Required Skills:
• Interest and experience in social media management and video channel oversight.
• Strong comprehension of various social media platforms.
• Familiarity with tools such as project management software, spreadsheets, and collaboration platforms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a passion for storytelling is advantageous.
• Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
• Enthusiasm for technology and a solid understanding of the software industry is beneficial.
