Job Overview:

As a vital member of the Digital Engagement team at Vertisystem, the Social Media Manager will play a key role in enhancing our outreach and interaction with developers through various online platforms. This position focuses on optimizing our engagement strategies and improving internal communication processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation Support: Assist in the production of compelling content for social media and video platforms. This includes refining captions, integrating metadata, and sourcing graphics.
  • Audience Interaction: Facilitate engagement with our audience by gathering feedback, comments, and inquiries from social media channels. Aid in developing a case study repository to foster storytelling initiatives.
  • Performance Analysis: Collaborate with team members to assess performance metrics across digital channels, monitor audience growth, and generate insightful reports to enhance our content strategy.
  • Scheduling and Organization: Oversee content calendars and project management tools, schedule posts, and coordinate with team members to ensure timely content delivery.
  • Documentation Support: Assist in documenting processes and resources on the company’s internal knowledge base.

Qualifications:

  • Experience and interest in social media management and video channel oversight.
  • Strong familiarity with various social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in tools such as project management software and collaborative platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a flair for storytelling is advantageous.
  • Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • A passion for technology and a solid understanding of the software industry is beneficial.
