Position Overview:
This is a full-time co-op position where the selected student will engage in various engineering tasks and projects. A commitment to a 40-hour work week is expected, with flexibility for academic commitments.

Key Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  1. Must be a sophomore or higher, having completed coursework in Computer Aided Design or 3D modeling. Experience with robotics teams or engineering clubs is advantageous.
  2. Demonstrate initiative, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and develop professionally.
  3. Must be a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Responsibilities:
As a co-op student, you will:

  1. Gain proficiency in SolidEdge and SolidWorks (3D modeling software) and EPICOR (business system software) under the guidance of a mentor.
  2. Initially handle engineering change requests and design tasks, including the generation and modification of Bills of Material.
  3. Have opportunities to work on the manufacturing floor to understand the application of engineering drawings and product configurations.
  4. Participate in design reviews and project meetings to gain insights into the engineering profession and technical challenges.
  5. Contribute to the department's success by seeing your designs come to life and collaborating with various engineers and designers.
