Job Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Systems Engineer with over 5 years of experience in systems integration to contribute to and spearhead applied research and development as well as product innovation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Evaluate vehicle requirements (including aircraft, ground vehicles, and remotely operated systems) and formulate integrated system architectures.
  • Design integrated system architectures that facilitate subsystem communication, power distribution, and control mechanisms.
  • Create integration strategies, develop interface control documents (ICDs), and monitor requirements compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members and partners to establish necessary physical and logical system interfaces.
  • Engage in hands-on implementation and troubleshooting of intricate hardware and software integrations during various design and construction phases.

Familiarity with standard embedded and industrial communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, 1553, UART, SPI, I2C, and aircraft communication protocols is essential.

Additional Responsibilities
Support system trade studies, design evaluations, integration, assembly, and testing efforts. Apply relevant electrical engineering principles and safety regulations.

Requirements
Applicants must possess:

  • U.S. citizenship.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in systems design and integration.
