Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the organization's business and commercial objectives, as well as the competitor environment, to inform commercial rationale for various product and service propositions.
  • Research potential leads and gather additional information on clients or customer organizations to identify commercial opportunities.
  • Represent MMS as a trusted partner to others, developing a network of contacts in targeted, potential customer organizations.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Key Skills and Qualifications:
    • Identify contacts/leads to match client profiles defined by Line Manager or Mentor.
    • Effectively manage priorities, with guidance from a Line Manager.
    • Organize and maintain records related to contacts, leads, meetings, follow-up tasks, and client/campaign-specific deliverables.
  • Foster business growth and development by producing different types of leads and finding opportunities in new markets, including initial contact and cold-calling.
  • Develop, present, and implement new strategies for qualifying new business, under the guidance of a senior team member.
  • Represent self and company in a professional manner, aligned with core company values.
  • Practice excellent internal and external customer service, communication, and teamwork.
  • Support departmental and organizational objectives, as well as improvement efforts.
  • Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, and training requirements.

Requirements:

  • College graduate in Business, Sales, or related degree program.
  • 0-2 years experience in direct sales, business development, or similar field.
  • Knowledge of scientific principles or concepts a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Hands-on experience with clinical trial and pharmaceutical development preferred.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work with others to clearly understand needs and solve problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of CROs, and scientific and clinical data/terminology, and the drug development process.
  • Learn to be proficient with Sales Applications: Dynamics 365 CRM, Zymewire, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, as applicable, and other sales tools, as applicable.
