Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students in a contract position at a school in Itasca, IL. As part of the ProCare team, you will receive weekly pay and a tailored benefits package to meet your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in adhering to their Individualized Education Plans and achieving their educational objectives.
  • Aid students with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, toileting, and mobility, as necessary.
  • Apply effective behavior management strategies to support students facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
  • Oversee students during classroom activities, transitions, and recess to ensure a safe and engaging environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification: Valid Paraprofessional license/certification in Illinois
