Paraprofessional
Location: Itasca, IL
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in supporting students in the classroom
  • Provide 1:1 or small group assistance to students with behavioral or academic needs
  • Help implement lesson plans and classroom activities
  • Support students with special needs as directed by the classroom teacher

Requirements:

  • Must meet one of the following:
    • 60 college credits,
    • Associate degree, or
    • Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment
  • Experience working with students with behavioral or academic challenges in a school setting
  • Understanding of students with behavioral and mental health needs is preferred
