Position Summary

The role involves identifying and managing installation activities related to charged-off debts. You will confidently address customer inquiries and utilize negotiation skills to collect outstanding balances while ensuring compliance with federal and state collection regulations. This position requires effective communication with both commercial and residential customers, promoting positive relationships and upholding our commitment to customer satisfaction through initiatives like the Net Promoter System (NPS) and the Comcast Customer Guarantee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to verify ownership and legitimacy of charged-off debts.
  • Engage with customers to collect payments and necessary documentation for order completion.
  • Utilize various tools, including internal billing systems and Lexis Nexis, to gather information for decision-making on installations linked to high-debt addresses.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company standards required for installation approval.
  • Process secure customer payments and establish payment arrangements in line with company policies.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of billing statements.
  • Follow established escalation procedures to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, structured environment while managing customer interactions professionally.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics consistently.
  • Exhibit professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior, safeguarding sensitive information.
  • Assist customers with a variety of inquiries and issues, utilizing necessary tools for communication.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines regarding customer information.
  • Act as a product expert, clearly communicating features of our services.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be available for variable schedules, including nights and weekends.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
