Job Description

**Job Summary**

The Regional Property Manager is a key member of the Community Holdings Management LLC team, responsible for overseeing the operations of a regional portfolio of affordable housing properties. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide site managers to achieve high levels of performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Develop and implement systems to motivate and establish performance goals for site managers and their direct reports to reduce vacancies.
  • Community Engagement: Document meetings and communications with community-based agencies and stakeholders to create resources and support for residents.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Provide weekly reports documenting site activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Implement monthly/quarterly meetings with senior management to keep abreast of policy changes and communicate important information to and from the property level.
  • Financial Management: Provide oversight in annual budget development and ongoing review of income/expenses as it relates to tenant accounting.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain ongoing communication with the Asset Manager and Site Manager to implement budget adjustments as needed.
  • Representation: Attend resident/community meetings, ownership, and partnership meetings as directed.
  • Professional Development: Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic, display a positive attitude, and foster an environment of teamwork.
  • Issue Resolution: Keep senior management abreast of all significant operational issues impacting the ownership's interest or liability.

Requirements:

**Minimum Qualifications:**

Accredited Resident Manager or Resident Housing Manager designations preferred, with a mandatory minimum of 5 years of experience in the supervision of affordable housing site operations. Must have experience in working with Housing Finance Agencies and understand the purpose of MSA and regulatory agreements. Must be certified in Tax Credits, Certified Occupancy Specialist, Fair Housing, and preferred Blended Occupancy Specialist.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Strong verbal, writing skills, conflict resolutions, and problem-solving. Be attentive to detail, have good writing skills, and ability to effectively communicate and resolve conflict.
