Job Summary

The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in supporting the Broker team in executing trades, managing accounts, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role requires collaboration with internal teams, staying informed on market trends, and providing strategic insights to clients. Key responsibilities include assisting in new business and renewal submissions, reviewing policy documents and invoices, and other client service activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accounts for new business and renewal processes, ensuring optimal client coverage and retention.
  • Support brokers in creating market submissions and quote cover letters, reviewing received documents for accuracy.
  • Build relationships with brokers, demonstrating understanding of brokerage operations to proactively support business needs.
  • Collaborate with brokers to drive renewals and solicit new business through client referrals.
  • Develop new business strategies with brokers, including proposals and presentations for new client opportunities.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with accounts, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Ensure accuracy of new and existing data in internal systems, create accurate documentation, and perform functions as defined by guidelines while meeting quality and service standards.
  • Generate reports on performance and other defined metrics, leveraging data and insights to inform brokers on portfolio trends and deliver value that may enhance the book of business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contractual obligations are met, resolve invoicing issues with stakeholders in Premium Accounting, and communicate on notices of cancellation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Insurance industry with a Bachelor's degree.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
  • Prescribed: Minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses.
  • Preferred: Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Commercial Insurance License (CIL).
