Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Sr. Account Manager to join our team at USI Insurance Services. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for managing 20 to 40 mid-to-large sized Commercial Lines insurance accounts as the day-to-day client contact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned Commercial Lines clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Insurance Expertise: Provide insurance technical expertise to clients and other members of the Account Management team, ensuring accurate and timely advice.
  • Renewal Marketing: Responsible for marketing and placement of client Commercial Lines insurance renewals, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal coverage.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage client renewal expirations and avoid any lapse in coverage, negotiating with carriers on behalf of clients as needed.
  • Policy Management: Process policies, endorsements, and audits as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Cross-Selling: Champion client cross-selling initiatives and develop customer accounts, driving growth and revenue.
  • Internal Representation: Represent client interests in internal USI account strategy meetings, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Administrative Tasks: Delegate administrative client tasks to assigned Account Representatives, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Communication: Respond to underwriters' questions in a timely and professional manner, maintaining a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Commercial Lines agency, with a college degree preferred.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, with a must-hold or willingness to earn Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Industry Designation: Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU preferred, but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products, with knowledge of Sagitta / ImageRight preferred but not required.
  • Teamwork: Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction, keeping informed about industry information, technology, and trends.
