Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team at USI Insurance Services. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 30 to 50 middle-market Commercial Lines insurance accounts. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional client service, building strong relationships, and driving business growth through strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned Commercial Lines clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Insurance Technical Expertise: Offer technical expertise to clients and other members of the account management team, ensuring accurate and timely insurance solutions.
  • Marketing and Placement: Responsible for marketing and placement of client Commercial Lines insurance renewals, including preparing client applications, determining carrier suitability, and analyzing quotes and coverage offerings.
  • Renewal Management: Manage client renewal expirations, ensuring seamless transitions and avoiding lapses in coverage.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate with carriers on behalf of clients, respond to underwriters' questions, and maintain accurate records in agency management systems.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a Commercial Lines agency, with a college degree preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and proficiency in internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
  • License and Designations: Must hold or be willing to earn a Property & Casualty insurance license, with industry designations such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU preferred.
