Position Summary:
The Director of Talent will spearhead the formulation and execution of Talent Management strategies, ensuring alignment with Sofitel's core values and operational standards. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and overseeing compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the annual Talent Management Business Plan.
  • Recruitment and Retention: Oversee recruitment processes and implement strategies to enhance employee retention.
  • Employee Recognition: Design and promote reward and recognition programs to foster employee engagement.
  • Compensation Management: Administer salary reviews and manage employee benefits packages.
  • Labor Relations: Handle employee relations matters with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Performance Metrics: Prepare and analyze monthly reports on Talent Management initiatives.
  • Financial Oversight: Ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines in all Talent Management activities.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and service excellence.
  • Employee Engagement: Promote a positive workplace culture through various communication channels.
  • Safety Programs: Champion workplace safety initiatives to ensure a secure environment for all employees.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in human resources.
