The Marketing Operations Assistant plays a vital role in providing administrative support to Goodwin's Marketing Team. This position is integral to the Client Development and Marketing Contract and Budget processes. The Assistant collaborates with the team to manage data, monitor contract progress, and assist with the mid-year budget review, while also managing budget entries throughout the year. These responsibilities often require interaction with various functional areas within the Marketing Department, Client Development, Legal Review, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the processing of all Client Development and Marketing Contracts through legal review in collaboration with Marketing Operations.
  • Communicate the status of contracts as they progress through the review process.
  • Maintain a record of all contracts currently under legal review.
  • Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of annual budgets for Marketing Operations, Client Development, and Marketing.
  • Support the Marketing Operations team during the mid-year budget review process.
  • Contribute to updates of policies and procedures on the firm's intranet.
  • Create and distribute weekly internal communications to team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or entry-level roles) in marketing or a professional services environment is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to build rapport with attorneys and other professional staff.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including web-based research, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
