Job Overview

Minth North America is seeking a Key Account Manager to join our expanding Sales team. This role is ideal for a proactive and motivated individual eager to contribute to a rapidly growing global enterprise in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing and nurturing all assigned client accounts, while identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Developing robust customer relationships and addressing both commercial and technical challenges.
  • Collaborating closely with Program Management and Engineering teams to achieve cost and timing objectives.
  • Initiating Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and overseeing the quoting process to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Maintaining all customer-specific commercial documentation related to our programs.
  • Preparing submissions for annual pricing programs and maintaining service parts pricing.
  • Working with the Minth Global team to proactively prevent customer issues and participating in resolutions when necessary.
  • Building and sustaining professional relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to enhance performance standards.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met regarding quotes and responses, with timely communication of relevant information.
  • Identifying and recommending projects aimed at improving productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Engaging in discussions with Program Managers regarding the development and execution of APQP plans.
  • Collaborating with manufacturing support on product process issues to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Updating and managing company pricing records, forecasts, and other commercial documentation as required.
  • Addressing financial issues related to pricing and tooling for assigned accounts, ensuring all purchase orders are processed accurately.
  • Conducting market research to maintain competitive pricing analysis and benchmarking data.
  • Providing sales and production data to assist in budget formulation and annual savings plans.
  • Contributing to the development of presentations and contract negotiations.
  • Assisting the Quality Department with any commercial issues related to production or warranty.
  • Supporting Quality in maintaining customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Recommending job-related training and development opportunities to enhance performance.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role within the Automotive OEM sector.
  • Familiarity with Automotive OEM e-Portals and associated applications.
  • Proficiency in English technical language; bilingual skills in Nihonggo, Mandarin, or Korean are advantageous.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office for data analysis and presentation preparation.
