SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Controller will oversee the daily financial activities of the organization and its subsidiaries in North America. This role involves collaboration with the North America CFO and the Group CFO, ensuring efficient financial management across the board. The position requires a hands-on approach, where you may need to assist with daily operations while leading the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related discipline
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation
  • In-depth knowledge of banking procedures and financial data interpretation
  • Familiarity with national and local tax laws and compliance requirements
  • Minimum of five years in a senior accounting or finance management role
  • Proficiency in English
  • Local residency is preferred.

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS TO MENTION

  • CPA or CA certification
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero or Sage
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Monday and Hubspot
  • Language proficiency in French, Spanish, or Mandarin

  • Develop and oversee budgets, including the analysis of financial data and forecasting.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports that accurately represent the organization's financial status.

  • Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Supervise financial operations, including payroll and tax submissions.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Maintain relationships with banks, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, proposing and implementing internal controls.
  • Coordinate audits and address findings as necessary.
  • Provide training and guidance to finance staff.
