Position Overview:

The Security Operations Officer will perform patrol duties, both on foot and in a vehicle, across courtyards, offices, pools, and other critical areas to ensure all access points are secured and to protect property and residents with a strong focus on detail and safety. The responsibilities outlined below are minimum expectations, with additional tasks specified in the site's Post Orders being mandatory.

  • Financial Acumen: Comprehending company metrics while performing necessary actions to enhance performance. Can you manage your time on-site to align with company benchmarks?
  • Team Development: Communicating effectively and promptly with clients, team members, and management, providing and receiving feedback and executing follow-ups as required. Can you collaborate effectively with a team to achieve key objectives?
  • Project Management: Fully understanding and executing daily responsibilities while delivering services that meet the needs of the organization. Can you complete your assigned tasks and communicate maintenance requirements for company assets?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and deliver various mobile security services while operating the company patrol vehicle, reflecting the company's values and expectations in alignment with site-specific instructions/post orders.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using company technology and web or app-based software during each shift, adhering to site instructions/post orders.
  • Consistently arrive on time for shifts, clock in and out, meet time commitments, and adhere to dress code and appearance standards.
  • Engage with internal and external customers on-site, fostering a customer service relationship aimed at providing peace of mind.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Advanced Patrol Officer and/or the Branch Patrol Supervisor to promptly report any customer or property-related information and concerns.
  • Be responsible for the assigned vehicle during the shift, including fueling, cleaning, and inspecting it.
  • Care for any Signal equipment assigned during the shift, including radios, access keys/cards, uniforms, and devices.
  • Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Branch Patrol Supervisor, such as reporting standards and service quality.
  • Effectively deescalate issues through professional and prompt communication.
  • Communicate with the Branch Patrol Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through Branch Supervisor Daily Scrum, including client needs, route changes, and post order updates to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Pass background check and drug test
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required
  • Reliable transportation necessary
  • Complete training modules within the first month
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service, organizational values, and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
