Key Responsibilities:
  • Information Assurance: Provide assistance to the program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.
  • Security Policy Development: Assist in proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • Operational Security: Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.
  • Security Operations: Assist with the management of security aspects of the information system and perform day-to-day security operations of the system.
  • Security Solutions Evaluation: Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.
  • Vulnerability/Risk Assessment: Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation.
  • Configuration Management: Provide configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to system and assess the security impact of those changes.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review documentation to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs).
  • Security Authorization: Assist security authorization activities in compliance with Information System Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP) and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Requirements:
  • Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or related discipline and 12 or more years of related experience, in lieu of bachelor's degree or a Technical Bachelor's Degree an additional 4 Years of experience will be considered.
  • DoD Compliance: Minimum of 7+ years of experience as an ISSO supporting IC or DoD programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Cybersecurity Certifications: DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level II or IAT Level III (i.e., CASP, CISSP, or Associate).

This position is open for direct hires only. We will not consider candidates from third party staffing/recruiting firms.

Benefits:
  • Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
