Position Overview:

The Security Operations Officer will perform patrol duties, both on foot and in a vehicle, across various high-value areas including courtyards, offices, and pools. The primary objective is to ensure all access points are secured and to safeguard property and residents with meticulous attention to detail and safety.

Essential Skills:

  • Visioning: Grasping the overarching goals and requirements necessary to deliver services that align with company values and objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Effectively engaging in communication, planning, and executing daily patrol responsibilities while adhering to established timelines.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding company metrics and executing behaviors that drive performance.
  • Team Development: Communicating effectively with clients, team members, and management, ensuring timely feedback and follow-up.
  • Project Management: Comprehensively executing daily tasks and delivering services that meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and deliver various mobile security services while operating the company patrol vehicle, ensuring alignment with site-specific instructions.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using company technology and software during each shift.
  • Consistently arrive on time for shifts, adhere to time commitments, and follow appearance standards.
  • Engage with internal and external customers on-site to cultivate a customer service-oriented relationship.
  • Maintain communication with the Advanced Patrol Officer and/or the Branch Patrol Supervisor to report any relevant information.
  • Responsible for the assigned vehicle during shifts, including maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Care for any Signal equipment assigned during shifts, including radios and access keys/cards.
  • Manage daily activities while meeting key performance benchmarks set by the Branch Patrol Supervisor.
  • Effectively deescalate issues through professional communication.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Patrol Supervisor to receive and disseminate operational information.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Pass background check and drug test
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record necessary
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Complete training modules within the first month
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism at all times
  • Ability to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
