As an Ingredients Procurement Specialist, you will be instrumental in enhancing our ingredient sourcing data and delivering exceptional service to our bakeries. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication to manage our SAP database, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across departments. Key Responsibilities:

SAP Database Management

  • Utilize your expertise in SAP and operational workflows to oversee database management, purchase price variance, invoice discrepancy resolution, vendor registration, credits, and operational support for bakeries, ensuring a smooth supply chain with minimal rework.
  • Engage in a variety of routine and non-routine communications with multiple suppliers, R&D, bakeries, accounts payable, and other stakeholders to gather essential information for bakery requirements, including pricing, specifications, timing, and availability.
  • Facilitate the introduction of new ingredients into the Aspire Bakeries system, coordinating with all relevant stakeholders such as R&D, Regulatory, FSQA, and Operations.
  • Provide analytical and SAP support to procurement team members.

Project Involvement

  • Assist in sourcing activities or projects, inquiries, negotiations, supplier follow-ups, and other tasks as directed by management.
  • Collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, and Commercialization teams to address costing and pricing requests.

Sourcing Support

  • Conduct analysis and data entry for various procurement categories.
  • Assist Category Managers with supplier and product qualifications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with bakery contacts to support business needs and anticipate necessary changes for a seamless ERP experience.
  • Participate in the annual budget and standard cost development process.
  • Help administer RFP/RFQ/RFI processes.
  • Support bakeries in overcoming supply challenges.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or Accounting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to structure analyses for solving complex problems.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and research skills are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience with SAP is advantageous.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

The final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on various factors, including location, shift, education, skills, and experience. The listed pay scale is generally for candidates meeting the specified qualifications and requirements. Additional compensation may be available for candidates exceeding these qualifications.
