As a Procurement Analyst specializing in Ingredients, you will be pivotal in optimizing our ingredient sourcing data and delivering exceptional service to our bakeries. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and effective communication skills to manage our SAP database, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across various departments. Key Responsibilities:
SAP Database Management
- Utilize your knowledge of SAP and operational processes to oversee database management, address purchase price variances, resolve invoice discrepancies, facilitate vendor registration, manage credits, and provide operational support to bakeries, ensuring a steady supply with minimal rework.
- Handle a range of routine and non-routine daily interactions with various Suppliers, R&D, Bakeries, Accounts Payable, and other stakeholders to gather essential information to support bakery requirements, including pricing, specifications, timing, and availability.
- Assist in the onboarding of new ingredients into the Aspire Bakeries system, coordinating with all relevant stakeholders including R&D, Regulatory, FSQA, and Operations.
- Provide analytical and SAP support to Procurement team members.
Project Involvement
- Engage in sourcing activities or projects, inquiries, negotiations, supplier follow-ups, and other tasks as assigned by management.
- Collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, and Commercialization teams to address costing and pricing requests.
Sourcing Support
- Assist with analysis and data entry across various procurement categories.
- Support Category Managers in supplier and product qualification processes.
- Foster relationships with bakery contacts to address business needs and anticipate necessary changes for a seamless ERP experience.
- Participate in and assist with the annual budget and standard cost development.
- Help administer RFP / RFQ / RFI processes.
- Provide support to bakeries facing supply challenges.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or Accounting is preferred.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to structure analyses to tackle complex problems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and research skills are essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with SAP is advantageous.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

The final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on various factors, including location, shift, education, skills, and experience within the job or industry. The pay scale listed for this position generally applies to candidates meeting the specified qualifications and requirements outlined in this job description. Additional compensation may be considered for candidates exceeding these qualifications.
