- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to comprehend procurement needs and guarantee the timely availability of materials.
- Assess and monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks.
- Leverage Microsoft 365, SAP, and other ERP systems to oversee procurement activities, track orders, and maintain precise documentation.
- Foster and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, seeking opportunities for cost reductions and process enhancements.
- Stay informed on market trends and supplier performance to make strategic purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards related to procurement and supply chain management.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain sectors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in procurement and supply chain within a manufacturing or operational context.
- Comprehensive knowledge of aerospace, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or machined components manufacturing and procurement standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SAP, and other ERP platforms.
- Strong grasp of procurement and supply chain principles within a manufacturing or operational framework.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
