Role Summary: The Procurement Support Specialist will oversee inventory control, liaise with suppliers, and ensure that production requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Tasks:

  • Oversee inventory procurement from international suppliers
  • Make informed purchasing decisions to sustain optimal inventory levels
  • Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate delivery timelines
  • Address pricing adjustments, order modifications, and billing discrepancies
  • Request special order estimates from vendors
  • Maintain procurement documentation and manage special initiatives
  • Source ocean freight pricing

Equipment and Tools Utilized:

Keyboard, mainframe and PC terminals, 10-key calculators, fax machines, copiers, and telephones. Software applications include, but are not limited to: MS Office Suite, email platforms, and various business management tools.
