About the Role

The Customer Experience Specialist - Customer Purchase Orders is a key member of our Central Division team, responsible for reviewing and entering customer blanket purchase orders. This role involves researching customer accounts, compiling, and frequently updating data to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain customer blanket purchase order records and database for the Central Division.
  • Resolve customer disputes arising from PO issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Assist Divisional/Regional/Local associates with general purchase order inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updating of all sales orders and billing documents as required.
  • Review all non-specific purchase orders on customer accounts and billings for accuracy, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Review customer master data, in relation to customer purchase order flags, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Administer metrics and communications related to customer purchase orders, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Bring discrepancies to the attention of supervisor and/or management team, ensuring prompt action and resolution.
  • Manage problem-solving and dispute resolution effectively between regional company associates and internal Division BSC departments until all issues are resolved.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned, contributing to the success of the Central Division team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, a bachelor's degree a plus.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with ability to handle special projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Success in handling special projects, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong Excel and MS Office skills, experience with Google Workspace.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and adapt to workloads, schedules, and diverse situations with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work within a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
