About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Data Analyst to support the State of Washington's HR team by analyzing and interpreting HR metrics and data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to track key metrics and trends.
  • Analyze and interpret HR data from various sources, including HRMS, surveys, and other relevant platforms.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to HR leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to develop and implement data-driven HR strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in HR or a related field, with a focus on data analysis and metrics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or similar software.
  • Experience with HRMS and other HR-related software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, statistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in HR analytics or a related field.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
