Business Development Director

The IT Capture Lead will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and leading capture efforts for assigned opportunities and federal government clients.
This includes gathering opportunity and customer intelligence, shaping opportunities, and positioning VSolvit to client decision makers.
The successful candidate will also develop and continuously maintain an eighteen-month capture plan and pipeline for VSolvit's Eastern Region customers.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Gathering competitor intelligence
- Determining capability gap analysis and teaming opportunities
- Negotiating teaming agreements
- Acting as the customer during the proposal development phase
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated deep understanding of federal contracting opportunity assessment and capture requirements
- Knowledge of VSolvit's core clients to include US Navy commands and other DoD organizations
- Experience executing multiple, simultaneous capture efforts and adapting to changing priorities
