POSITION SUMMARY:

The Client Relations Associate will deliver exceptional customer support for the Bank's clientele by addressing inquiries and facilitating issue resolution through digital communication channels, including online chat and email. This role is essential in fostering and sustaining electronic banking relationships while promoting digital engagement for customers across various platforms. The Associate will also seek opportunities to provide additional insights regarding the Bank's offerings to enhance existing customer relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and digital platforms concerning their accounts and the Bank's services, including financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system to ensure comprehensive documentation of inquiries and resolutions.
  • Authenticate customer identities in accordance with Bank protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Detect and report any fraudulent activities to protect both the Bank and its customers.
  • Provide assistance for online and mobile banking, including setup, navigation, and troubleshooting.
  • Support various departments within the Bank as needed.
  • Advise customers on the Bank's products to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Seek higher-level approval for situations that exceed personal expertise or authority.
  • Proactively recommend Bank products and services based on customer needs assessments.
  • Consistently achieve service level targets and performance metrics.
  • Conduct outbound calls to customers as necessary.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy policies, as well as Bank regulations.
  • Research and prepare appropriate responses to customer complaints and inquiries by collaborating with team members and other departments.
  • Strive to create positive customer experiences that drive engagement and satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

A High School diploma or GED is required, with a preference for candidates pursuing higher education. An Associate's Degree is strongly preferred.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 6 months in a customer service role is required. Experience in providing digital support is preferred, along with a background in banking. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to quickly learn about the Bank's products and services and possess excellent problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with PCs, current operating systems, and mobile platforms is necessary, as is an understanding of cybersecurity principles to protect the digital environment.
