Position Title: Client Support Specialist

Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 3+ months

Compensation: $19/hr. - $20.73/hour

Role Summary:

The Client Support Specialist is responsible for addressing and resolving customer inquiries and issues related to billing, collections, and various customer service functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Manage customer billing processes, including adjustments and payments using designated software.
  • Coordinate communication with field technicians and manage service requests.
  • Organize schedules for service personnel and oversee timekeeping duties.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role within an office environment.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong telephone communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Capable of working under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Respond to all customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
  • Schedule and relay service orders to technicians.
  • Ensure completion of all service orders.
  • Process customer payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Manage incoming correspondence and maintain customer files.
  • Oversee the collections process in accordance with company protocols.
  • Calculate and post billing adjustments as necessary.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional clerical duties as required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer.
  • Must possess clear vision, hearing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Being bilingual is a significant advantage but not a requirement.
