- Coordinate instructions for field technicians and manage service requests.
- Schedule meter changes and oversee work schedules for service personnel.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
Experience Required:
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or office environment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong telephone communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Core Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure all incoming calls are answered in accordance with company standards.
- Address all customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Schedule and relay service orders to technicians.
- Verify the completion of all service orders.
- Process customer payments and maintain accurate cash reports.
- Manage incoming mail and maintain customer records.
- Follow the active collections process as per business guidelines.
- Calculate and post billing adjustments as necessary.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional clerical tasks as required.
- Carry out other duties as assigned within the reasonable scope of the position.
Essential Requirements:
- Physical: Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer.
- Sensory: Must be able to see, hear, and communicate clearly in English.
- Mental: Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Language: Bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed.
